Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne
Nashville Predators (NHL) goalie Pekka Rinne led the Preds to their first ever Stanley Cup playoff win in 2011. I was asked to paint his portrait for the cover of a new magazine launching in the area. The Nashville Predators supplied the photo for me and the idea was to auction the painting. Proceeds were going to 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund, an initiative of the Nashville Predators, Pekka Rinne, and former captain Shea Weber. Unfortunately, the magazine never got published and the auction never happened. But that’s okay because you can still get prints!
Original is 30 x 40 acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. I offer standard sizes, but it can be printed any size you like.
New from Roy Laws Art: Re-Creations!
So you love a painting, but the original is already home with someone else. What to do? I now offer to recreate the painting for you in the size and even colors you like. I even promise to drink beer and listen to loud music while I'm doing it to accurately match the environment the original was created. You can choose the "recreation" option below or contact me if you'd like something altered.
